Hi I'm John Reedy

John Reedy Math

I am a math hobbyist interested in the interaction between discrete and continuous mathematics, especially as it appears in number theory.

This site is a working record of my explorations: integers, geometry, primes, lattice structure, scaling, diagrams, and attempts to turn observations into clearer definitions, lemmas, and proofs.

Areas of Interest

Discrete and Continuous-How counted structures and smooth structures interact.

Number Theory-Integers, primes, composites, squares, factors, and modular structure.

Integer Geometry-Squares, rectangles, triangles, diamonds, diagonals, and area packets.

Lattice and Contact-Integer points, lattice intersections, boundaries, and certificates of contact or non-contact.

Golden Ratio and Scaling -Logarithmic gauges, rail ideas, and transformations between measurements.
